We have stayed in Joplin many times and definitely not my favorite place to stay along the way.

No pool towels, couldn't figure out how to enter the pool area which was another trip to the front desk. After a long day on the road my husband was not happy so we decided to use the pool. anyway 2 trips to the front desk and Jessica was able to get us moved to a new room a couple of doors down. Remote didn't work, chair was rickety at best. I didn't understand why they gave us that room and the workers had used the bathroom. They said they'd be back in about 20 minutes with the shower drain cover. What do we know? The one they chose had maintenance people in the room when we arrived that we're just leaving. After looking further they found one and said they had several which one would we like. New owners were on duty when we arrived and told us they had no king bed on the ground floor. We encountered many glitches but thanks to a superstar employee, Jessica I believe, she saved the day. The staff at Days Inn by Wyndham Joplin looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit. If you’re looking for something to do, Sandstone Gardens is a nice way to spend some time. While you’re here, be sure to check out some of the Asian restaurants, including Ichiban Japenese Restaurant, Han the Sushi Man, and Kinnaree Thai Cuisine, all of which are a short distance from Days Inn Joplin.
